Account and billing
Your account and your church’s plan
Change how Vessel looks, add a password, sign out everywhere, and find out where billing stands.
Your account page
On the web, open the menu with your church’s name and choose Account. The top shows your name, your role, your church and your email.
Under Look, choose Match this computer, Light or Dark. This is saved in this browser only.
Add a password
A password is optional. It lets you sign in without waiting for an emailed code.
- On your account page, under Password, type a New password of at least 8 characters.
- Type it again, and choose Save password.
- If Vessel emails you a code to confirm it’s you, type it in and save again.
The first time you sign in to a church, you always need an emailed code. After that, your password works too.
Signing out
Vessel signs you out by itself after 12 hours without use. On a shared computer, sign out when you’re done.
- Sign out signs you out of this browser.
- Sign out on all devices… signs you out here and on every phone, tablet and computer. You’ll need a new code to sign back in. Use it if you lost a phone or signed in somewhere you shouldn’t have.
Sermon Writer accounts
If you use Sermon Writer without a church, choose Account on the Sermon Writer page. There you can add a password and sign out.
Billing
Billing isn’t switched on yet, and nobody is charged. Plans and prices are on our pricing page.

Close your account or delete your data
- Email support@vesselworship.org from the email address on your account.
- Use the subject “Delete my Vessel account”, and say whether it’s your Vessel sign-in or your Sermon Writer account.
We’ll confirm the request with you. In the Vessel Worship app, Delete my account in Settings sends the same request.
Records your church keeps about you, like attendance or giving, belong to your church. We pass your request to the church and follow its instructions. Our privacy policy has the details.
Still stuck?
